What a fun way to spend a few hours, learning how to make the base for Makgeolli or Soju if that’s your flavour. Julia was a great teacher with lots of interesting stories and tips to explore Seoul

The Master Brewer tour was the best drink/food tour I’ve ever experienced! It was just what I was looking for. We enjoyed excellent Korean alcohol and food, and got expert advice about tasting and brewing. Friendly and informative.

Had an amazing day learning to make makgeolli, with sample to try for inspiration, of course. Julie was a thorough and fun teacher and the follow on tour we did with her in a master brewer's house was equally informative and delicious.

Had a great time understanding makkoli, the history and the culture behind it. Even had a chance to make our own makkoli. Sadly, we were not able to bring the sample back home for fear of custom restrictions.
