This place is huge, at least two full floors of all kind of musical instruments. Especially if you're a guitar lover, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there are even seating areas scattered around for people to chat and...More

If you are a musician and visit the area anyway, I recommend to have a look there. The atmosphere of "hundreds" of sellers of musical instruments and repair shops is quite special, and you find basically every common instrument there. Instruments offered cover the whole...More

Sadly, I have to not recommend one seller in particular: Guitarmin, an acoustic instrument seller/luthier. I made a verbal agreement with Guitarmin to purchase a Zamar guitar for 250k won. We agreed he would fix the buzzing sound coming from some frets and let me...More

I purchased a guitar here. Many stores with many instruments, so I had a lot of fun window shopping. But later on, my Korean friend told me that most stores sell the instruments expensively unless you go with someone who knows the worker there...

Husband is a part time musician and insisted to visit this arcade. Rows and rows of shops selling acoustic and electric guitars, piano, percussion, wind instruments and lots of music related stuff. We visited 3 floors. Also more similar shops around the area outside. Tons...More

Understand from the local Korean guide that this is the mecca for anyone who wants to purchase any musical instrument as it is the biggest collection of music shops anywhere in the world. Gave it a average rating as I unfortunately did not have the...More

When I lived in Seoul several years ago, I purchased my acoustic bass guitar in this area (also spelled as "Nakwon"). There are tons of instruments and musical accessories available here, along with people who can make or repair them. Even if you don't buy...More

Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small
neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects
of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional
Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts,
fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir
shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in
particular has become a local institution for its
unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops
