this is for sure the biggest Local market in the Middle east , it is not a street or road , no we are talking about an area , all lanes are full of people selling and buying issues , you cannot see every thing...More

Visited the place on 3 occasions. Sellers very honest and friendly. Best place to buy clothes and shoes. Don't buy electronics as most are cheap imitations. At least the some of the sellers are honest enough to tell you that the electronics(phones) are imitations. I...More

That's just the place to be if antiques are what you are looking for. Remember to bargain.. They hype prices all the time..

You could find wholesale shops in Attaba (Musky St). It is easily accessible; by Metro(1 LE anywhere in Cairo), bus(1LE) or mini bus. I found the cheapest things are ladies' sock(the best one is Sandy brand), cotton abaya, darbuka(goblet drum), pyjamas etc.
