Dates to 12th century. The interior of the mosque was built to resemble the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Interesting side trip after you've seen the pyramids.

A nice and fantastic place. A huge complex of citadel which has different buildings and activities inside. There is a big and ancient mosque. Also there is a museum of war where you can see ancient catapults to modern cannons.
