Citadel, is beautiful and very interesting. It's a Muslim Temple, also next to it is a place where Jesus, Mary, and Joseph stayed for 3 Months and 10 days, hided from the Romans. A wonderful energy !!!

Good site to visit to see the buildings and view of the city. Walk through the Mosque of Mohamad Ali. Not much history posted to review but a guide can help you with questions.

Exceptionally beautiful views of Cairo, the wonderful Mohammed Ali Mosque, and the Military Museum (unfortunately seemingly closed forever, but they have an outdoor area that is still open) Good for history buffs, like me!

for whatever reason, it goes by three names but it is just one mosque/citadel. It is worth seeing as to relate to its significance to Egypt's history.

Very interesting place with amazing view to the city. The mosque is gorgeous, the gardens very beautiful and there are also three museums around.
