nothing exceptional to see... just a bridge connecting both sides . do not waste your time walking there , kasr il nil bridge leading to the opera house is the only nice bridge walk in cairo

i used to cross this bridge for many years to go to kasr alainy college . the Nile ,buildings and boats became familiar . i spent fantastic nights over the bridge with my friends: open air , wonderful Nile , delicious drinks.

Like all the bridges over the Nile, this one offers nice views of Cairo and the vicinity. Good to do on a hot evening.

Though surroundings changed a little and traffic increased 10 folds from the seventies when I used to walk on that bridge on a daily basis while going to Cairo university, but the charm is still there ...

Despite of its vital necessity to the whole Cairo citizens & inhabitants and its great length, the bridge is suffering from bad finishing, negligence and poor anticipation of the future passengers needs as a main road
