It was one of the best experience in Egypt. The guide knew exactly what we want and there was a lot of flexibility and we didn’t have to deal with any hassles or haggling. I would love to recommend this experience to all my friends who are coming to Egypt for travel!

We booked a private tour with our children 11 & 12 years. Without transfers, departure directly from the beach. The children could ride the quad bikes alone. We had a lot of driving time and it was really fun.
Thanks to Aladin who taught us this, great guy. Big thanks also go to Hassan our guide, who made this trip something special.
I can only recommend it to others.

SandBoarding Egypt
The driver and guide Amr and Rafeet were very friendly and we had a lot of laughs together. I was on my own so it was the three of us for the day. I went in September. Temperature around 36 degrees. The vehicle they use is a Toyota landcruiser 4x4 to get you in and out of the desert sand. It seats two up front and up to six people in the back. The sand dunes are located in The Wadi Rayan National Park which contains beautiful views of The Majic Lake. You can also request to see the waterfall. It takes roughly two hours to get there from Cairo. Bring a spare pair of socks. Bring long socks and roll them down as needed as the sand is very hot and with short ones the sand can still be quite hot on your ankles. You can Sandboarding as long as you want on the sand hills and if you want to Sandboard right into the lake you can do that too. That was a blast. They provide you with wax candles to wax your board before every ride. That makes your board faster in the sand. You can also hang out there and swim in The Majic Lake for a while. On the drive out You have the choice to do some off-roading with the guys or take it easy on the concrete. It’s up to you. The off-roading is a lot more fun. After the Sandboarding the guys take you to the Fayoum Oasis for lunch. Chicken bbq. Salads. Egyptian food etc. This trip is a must for anyone who Snowboard’s. Skateboards or Surfs. For anyone else it’s a great adventure with two fun locals from Egypt. They have a big speaker in the back of the truck that is blue tooth compatible so you can play your own iPod or phone playlists for the drive and get everyone singing along. Friday was the only day available to Sandboard while I was there. So check dates before or right when you arrive to set your itinerary. They say that they do more trips per week in the winter months. Summer months more like two per week.......This post is intended for Remal Adventures.

We did a really fun guided tour!
Amr was the guide and the driver was Refaat, two really nice guys, we had a lot of fun and they showed us some really nice places.
In the end the arrival in the village of the Bedouins with their welcome and their food was magical.
I really recommend it to everyone.

Second time I go on an excursion with Remal and they never disappointed. Refaat and Amr took care of us the whole day, bringing us to beautiful and very typical places in the middle of the desert , to sandboarding and they also offered us dinner in a very nice bedouin spot with an amazing sunset view. Also, the people are super friendly. Highly suggested for young people who want to have fun in the wild!!

If you want to get away from the craziness of the city and trade being hearded along with all the other tourist for something more authentic and adventurous then this is the trip for you. Rifat and Zizo where super fun, the desert was really cool, and the sandboarding was awesome. Lunch was delicious as well. The journey to the dunes is not really for the faint of heart as you are off-roading much of the time and the safety vehicle safety standards aren’t quite up to what we were expecting (e.g. good fitting seatbelts) but it’s super fun and an awesome way to get out and away from it all. Sandboarding in Egypt = Epic!

In summer 2016, we organized an event for Egyptians living abroad in cooperation with Sandboarding Cairo club. They organized everything from scratch to end and it was more than amazing!!! The bus trip, climbing the mountain, sailing on the magic lake, volleybal, soccer, the food, sandboarding, campfire, everything was just perfect. I highly recommend working with them. You'll have a more than amazing day!!
