We visited Cairo in September it was supposed to be hot but we live in... More

Although it is in really bad shape due to erosion, you still must come to see this giant dug right out of the sand. Pictures do not show this beauty in all of its delight!

The mysticism and engineering acumen that defines ancient Egypt is always enamoring. So when given a chance, a quick trip to Giza to see the pyramids and the sphinx is advised. However, it would be best to keep your expectations low and be smart about doing this trip. The best way is still to book with a reputable tour group... More

This was really great .It seemed surreal to be actually there having seen it in pictures for so many years. Since it is all part of the Great Pyramid area you won't miss it in any event when you visit Cairo

The Sphinx face is Kings face and body of Lion , it is approximately 73 meters long and 20 meters high . It is primarily a guardian figure to keep evil spirits away from the tomb of King Khafre. Although I was expecting it to be larger, it is still an amazing , not-to-be-missed monument. Situated next to the great pyramids in Giza, It is amazing to finally see it in real life.
