Must see.

The Pyramids live up to all the hype around them. You can't grasp the magnitude of the pyramids until you see them in person. They site is clean, safe and well organized. The camel and horse ride area is well defined and I didn't see any animal waste around the pyramids. You can even pay to enter one of them.

I highly recommend the camel ride. They take you out a little ways from the Pyramids to give you a great view and picture of all the pyramids together.

Egypt Best Day Tours- BEST COMPANY!
Aug 2021 • Friends
Egypt Best Day Tours is the BEST EXPERIENCE. As experienced travelers, this is the best company you will find. They sent us an amazing driver to pick us up from the airport and set us up with an amazing guide who is very intelligent and knowledgeable in Egyptology, called Sahl. As people who love history and have read much about Egypt, we were astounded by his wealth of knowledge. He was very kind and fun! Nermin gave us very fair prices, especially compared to what some companies ask for. She gave us extremely helpful advice for our travels such as where to stay, where to avoid, how to tip, and what to pay. If you value true cultural experience while traveling, please, contact Nermin and Ibrahim and they will take care of you better than anyone else in Egypt. Wonderful experience
You can pay extra and climb up inside. It's a tough climb and when you get to the burial chamber, all that is there is the sarcophagus. But how many times does one get the chance to climb into a pyramid!

Amazing experience!
Apr 2021
This was such an amazing experience. It was difficult getting to the actual chamber inside the pyramid. We had to crawl through a lot of it! Finally arriving in the burial chamber and seeing the carvings on the walls and vivid color still remaining after so many years. It was quite beautiful. I am thankful we had the opportunity to enter this temple.

Great! You pretty much need to do it. Not very difficult, but if you’re fat or not comfortable it tight spaces, might not be fir you.

What a dream! And December 2020 updates...
Dec 2020
It was a dream being here. It's expensive to get inside (check below), but you won't regret it.

The pyramids of Khafre and Khufu (the Great Pyramid) are open for visitors (extra ticket for each). Upon entrance and before you leave the ticket office, check which pyramids are open or not on a big board. Remember that once you're inside you must bring your extra tickets with you.

CURRENT PRICES (DECEMBER 2020)
- Giza Plateau (general admission): EGP 200
- The Great Pyramid (King Khufu) - interior: EGP 400

PHOTOGRAPHY
You won't be allowed to take cameras with you. Only cellphones are allowed. Be aware that if you're alone (no one with you or a tour guide), you will probably need to leave your stuff with the guards at the entrance, which I really don't think is a good option.

BAKSHEESH (TIPS)
You will certainly be followed by the guards upon entrance because you will be their chance to get a tip. They will insist and insist and insist for you to give them your cellphone so that they can take lots of pictures of you. You have two options: either you accept it or not. If you don't, maybe you'll need to be a bit rude to convince them to leave you alone. But believe me: they will insist. hahahahaha
But if you accept it, tip them ONLY in the end, not when you give them your cellphone, because they will take lots of pictures of you and then will certainly ask you more. Some of them will whine and grumble, but be firm and say "that is all I have". Don't be shy and don't feel intimidated. You will experience that lots of times in Egypt. Get used to it.

Photographing is one of my favorite hobbies, but, believe me, your cellphone will be a better option (in lots of temples in Egypt). As long as the royal chambers are really dark, you would definitely need a tripod inside...

That was an amazing experience and I really recommend it.

Questions? Send me a message. I’ll be more than happy to help you to make your trip to Egypt even better!
