The Nubian village is too touristic in my opinion! The Nile boat ride there is very nice though. The village is small and colorful, and full of sellers. We visited a supposed "Family Home". It was interesting to see the house inside, but they sadly...More

Unless you like a bunch of souvenir shops and a touristy camel ride, go to the old village instead. The people there are very welcoming and proud!

The nicest people ever. My favorite part of my Egypt trip ! Make sure to eat on the water. You can even stay in a guest house on the island.
