Colors everywhere, hospitality in the air, smiling faces, delicious food all amongst some beautiful colorful mud houses and sounds of traditional music in the background. It is not to be missed, you can skip anything but not this one. You can come by boat which takes around 20 - 30 minutes alone or as part of a whole boat trip.... More

it's developed the last few years. Today it's more like a tivoli. So if you enjoy a lot of people, traffic and yelling - it's the place for you.

You can have lunch by the nile, you can either take a boat or a taxi to get there. Enjoy the ride so a boat is recommended. Very friendly people. A nice market where you can buy local handmade items and lots of spices.

I had hired a guide and a boat to travel from the dock near my hotel, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Hotel, to the Nubian Village on a late Thursday afternoon. It took about 40 minutes to travel from the hotel to the village. I had a very tasty and filling dinner at the Nubian Dream Restaurant before walking through the... More

The Village is easily accessible from Aswan by public transportation, it can be visited in just couple hours, is easy to walk around and admire the beauty of the scenery, discover the fresh smell of spices and visit a Nubian home but if you can, I suggest you to at least stay there for a night or two. You won't... More

The boat ride to Nubian Village is a great experience which is crowned by the visit to the village itself. Quality food, spices, and handmade crafts. Surely a must do again.
