The obelisk is covered with beautiful carvings. When you take the pic in the bright sun, you think you can't see the art on them, but it came out. Very dramatic against the dark blue sky

Inside Karnak Temple, these 2 obelisks certainly command attention. Good access all around gives an impressive view of these wonders

Both obelisks are amazing engineering monuments. It takes a while to realize what you are looking at and how old they are.

Amazing to see this and to think that it was quarried, carved and put in place 3000+ years ago. What a sight it must have been when the original gold tip was in place!

Currently Karnak is still under on preservation process. Here you can find a lot of pharaoh monuments.

For those who love ancient history this is a place to go seeing the Obelisk that was amazing, the Egyptians were fantastic builders and craft man/women make sure if your in Luxor you come here

One of the few obelisks left in Egypt. Two are here at Karnak temple and the best preserved is Thut 1st. Great location and great for pictures!
