It was raining a lot before our visit, there was a high grass and enough water everywhere so animals didn´t come close. Our driver thought we would be disappointed but we weren´t. The nature is breathtakingly beautiful.Visited December 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 29 April 2024

The Travel agents made it easier for us from day one to the last day. The driver gave us enough guiding during our game drives. This was very fun. We are planning to go with you again during December. THANKYOUVisited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 13 May 2024

I saw the most elephants I’ve ever seen in one place. Although I didn’t see as many other animals due to my limited time there, the experience was still unforgettable. Tsavo East is truly an elephant haven.Visited July 2024Travelled soloWritten 25 July 2024
- Moses LFlorence, Italy13 contributionsAn unforgettable experience at Tsavo East Park.We did a three day visit to Tsavo East National Park it was like stepping into an animal paradise! The park's vast landscapes and abundant wildlife made every moment unforgettable. We really enjoyed the game drives, by our guide, spotting elephants, lions, and so many other animals in their natural habitat. The scenery was breathtaking, and the thrill of seeing wildlife up close was unmatched. It was an incredible experience, and we can't wait to go back again😊Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 August 2024

We stayed in the park and visit the Tsavo West too. The accommodation was fantastic and the staff incredible. Our safari driver Kevin Onyi Omondi (aka Bob) was fantastic, with great knowledge of animals and shortcuts to save us time. We where able to see lions, zebra, buffalo, elephant, baboon, monkeys, giraffe, impala, and the list goes on. The park was just starting to show signs of rebirth after the draught. Many animals taking advantage to grown and enjoy water.
Parks fees for non residents was 52 USD entry, this could also be paid in shilling, and by card. I note this as the last time we visited massi Mara we paid 80 USD and needed correct money in USD.

In March 2022, we visited the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. The aims of the center are to release the orphaned elephants in the wilderness.
It was both a unique and unforgettable expérience.
We were absolutely amazed by the huge work made by the keepers. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Young elephants aged over 3 years old had very close relationship with the keepers.
Altogether, we HIGHLY recommend to visit the center to support the missions of the David Sheldrick Trust!!!
The center can be visited by guests, who have adopted orphaned elephants

Landscape is beautiful and we had interesting animal sightings including gerenuk, fringe eared Orynx and lions mating. The combination of red earth and blue sky is stunning and the elephants covered in red are worth seeing.. Park is well sign posted and we were able to borrow a laminated map from the park gate. Self driving is easy here. Enjoyed exploring along the Voi River and also the area around the Galena Falls. Sheldrick Trust foster parents can arrange a visit to the Voi Stockade in advance - seeing the orphaned elephants return to the stockade in the afternoon for milk and bedtime was a highlight for us. Hope to return to Tsavo East some day.

We stayed for two nights in August, drove a long way and saw wildlife but not as much as on previous occasions. It helps to have a map or a knowledgeable guide but game viewing involves a lot of chance. Highlights were elephant, giraffe, gerenuk, one lioness, Kanderi swamp and Lugards Falls.

We booked a last minute safari with Patrick and amazing doesn't even cut it. He arranged our trip within 24 hours and picked us up bright and early the morning of (4am). We drove about 2 hours to the park and spent the entire day there (literally, easily 8 hours). We spent majority of the time driving through the park and had lunch in between at the beautiful resort, which was also included. We were a very lucky bunch and saw almost every animal you could think of (elephants, giraffe, pride of lions, zebra, and so much more)! Patrick was extremely kind, patience, and informative during our entire experience. Would highly recommend!

We were in Tsavo East on July 29, it was a little disappointing as we didn't see the variety of animals that I had seen there previously, but it was still amazing for the numbers of elephants we saw. My estimate was in excess of 500. The park is pretty dry this time of year and there was a sizable area that burned. Still a remarkable park.

Flying with Ethiopian airlines to Ethiopia then a good transfer to Nairobi we arrived to a lovely day met by guide at the airport and off we went . AA Lodge for the first night then into ambaseli national park in the morning . Wow so many an imals , visited the Masai mara village and joined in dancing with the tribe . Unforgettable . Then back to the jeep to transfer to next reserve . in Tsavo west . VWatched the animals around the waterhole ,so close you felt you could touch them . Next morning off again in jeep for the big game hunt in Tsavo east.Saw so many types of animals I started logging them on my iPad . Glad I did as by the end of the safari I had over a 100 different mammals birds fish reptiles and insects . Day 5 went to Voi for a train ride to Mombasa for our stay in Diani sea resort . Nice and peaceful after excitement of safari . Went into Mombasa town ,worth a visit but typically run down and overcrowded . Day 10 time to pack ànd come home ,nice smooth flights and transfers ,thanks to Julius t and his organisational skills we really did have the trip of a lifetime even when it rained we were happy to watch the lightning it was spectacular. Every one needs to do this one . Forget Florida go to africa

Was just wondering if travellers to this park have had the yellow fever vaccine? We are here in January and are not sure about this
Written 13 November 2019
I had a yellow fever vaccination before going to Kenya and visiting Tzabo East.

Can anyone tell me is May usually very rainy if so is June better for visit
Written 25 October 2019
I think early June is better than may - less chance of rain. I went in Early June and it was dry. Rainy weather can be better for seeing some animals though/

Son affidabili i beach boys? O prenoto con il resort?
Written 7 August 2019
Noi abbiamo prenotato in precedenza. Sempre con locali ma che sapevamo avere il 'patentino' di guide
