I do not like to watch others sex. But when lion mates, it's worth watching. Lioness walks to the male and seat in front, lion takes the position. When it ends there is a roar of joy.

Just so many animals, the leopards proved elusive but the rest of the big 5 obliged. Crocs at close quarters was a good sighting.

The river is so silent! But you never want to know what lies under that river! Monsters like the nile crocodile and the river horses well known as the hippos. I love this

If you want to see Lions, this is the place to go. We saw pride after pride, some with brand new cubs to cubs that were getting ready to leave. There are also lots of other animals to see. We were not there for the migration, we came for the babies. We saw babies of most of the animals; Elephant,... More

The Mara River ran through both camps where we stayed in the Masai Mara. There are hippos, crocodiles, a multitude of birds, and other animals that come down to drink. Always interesting to sit by the river and just see who shows up!

January 2017. Despite the exodus of Wildebeest towards Serengeti, we were able to view all of the Big 5 within our 4 day Stay. Mr Martin , our Tour Guide & Driver, provided by Globetrotter, based in Nairobi, ensured that each of our Safari Drives was great !

We've been several times and each time it's different and equally exciting. Beautiful scenery, animals, and a piece of adventure. The best park in Kenya

We toured the Mara River area while on safari. The river level was very low, however, we were still able to see crocodiles, blue heron, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, giraffe, black rhino, eland, topi, Grey parrots, lilac breasted rollers, secretary birds and superb starlings. Hopefully, they'll get some good rains and replinish the grasslands.

It was thrilling to see the spot where all the wildebeests and zebras cross the river. However, in January the great migration is in Serengeti, which we saw later on trip

As we drove along the river on our safari we saw many lions, 2 leopards plus all the usual Elephants, zebras, etc. If you only have 1 day this is a must drive
