The water is dirty so I didn't quite enjoy my swim. Apart from that, I was welcomed with friendly service as usual. Not the most exciting destination but also not the worst.

My first snorkelling experience was here on the shore of the Voyager resort. It was perfect, so many beautiful creatures to see. On low tides, you can walk to the reef almost a kilometre away from the shore and this was the most fascinating thing about the beach. I said to myself "the sea walks..." Be sure to grab your... The beach was generally devoid of tourists There were locals who latched on to chat but with an underlying reason to get money. So beware! Generally chatting about life and work availability in Mombasa etc seemed to be negative, being told they need a certificate to work. This appears to be a certificate of education. If you haven't got it... More

My wife and I often travel to Mombasa to get supplies and love to do an overnight-er on the North Coast of Mombasa. Haller Park is nearby and fishing, camel rides, and sailing are readily available by your resort. Be ready to haggle for prices - it's part of the fun.

A very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent service. Accommodation is very clean and well kept. It is an excellent place not only for solo travelers but also for families even the elderly. We usually visit Nyali Beach Hotel with our elderly mother and she is always ready to go to the same hits on our next vacation!!

its one of the oldest beach hotel in Mombasa, not very far from the town centre, very good location, well maintained and the rooms are very clean.

Great beach to enjoy some time away from hot and busy Mombasa. We spend a day at one of the resorts and the beach was very nice. It was busy but not too busy.

Nyali beach was a delightful place to see. The sand was white and felt powdery instead of grainy and the waters were so beautiful. Too bad a good portion of the beach is covered by seaweed and there were some in the water close to shore (which didn't make for a very nice swimming experience). It was busy on Saturday... More
