About
The Longtan Temple Fair held in Beijing’s Longtan Park provides guests with an authentic and festive celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Every year, thousands of tourists and locals mosey through this massive park, paying visits to the large collection of ancient temples, and eyeing the impressive display of traditional red lanterns covering the landscape. There are also plenty of local food and entertainment to keep you energized through all of that sightseeing.

If you are in Beijing during spring festival you have to check out one or more of the city’s temple fairs. We took subway line 10 to pangjiayuan and walked from there about 15 min. The park was a lot bigger than we expected and it took a good hour to walk around. Lots of decorations, food stalls and shows like lion dance. I would like to come back to the park during summer as it seems like a beautiful park. This temple fair was clearly very popular as there were lots of people.
