My adult daughter and I recently completed this tour. The evening tour of various hutongs and historical sites provided a different perspective on the more traditional historic tours we attended on our visit. Lewis, our guide, is worldly and well travelled which allowed him to...More

I did this tour with some friends. The whole experience was very average. The guide gave lots of facts and stories, but it wasn’t particularly engaging. He also spoke quite quietly, making him difficult to hear. I’m used to cycling in cities and am normally...More

Fantastic day. Learnt so much - Lewis was very accommodating of all our questions. The ride and the hike require reasonable fitness and absolutely worth the day trip to get to such a spectacular yet quiet section of the wall. Just book - you won't...More

Reading some of the five-star review makes me realize the tour guide you have really impacts your impression of the tour. Ours was pretty indifferent, on his phone a lot, and wasn't especially enthusiastic. The result was that our tour was pretty average. I’ve been...More

This is a great way to get a sense of the geography of the city centre. You need to be ready for the rather chaotic traffic behaviour - especially the right turning vehicles coming through the pedestrians and cyclists who are crossing. The real challenge...More

Great outfit for all types of bike rentals. Wife took an e-bike (which she loved and now wants one for home) and I took a regular city bike with toddler seat (which my toddler just loved and napped in). Super accommodating staff. Recommend to anyone...More

A nice easy ride around the hutongs of Beijing with Peter. It was informative and gave a good overview of the area. Listed as a 3 hour tour but only went for 2.5 hrs which was the perfect length. We did have some slight issues...More

We were picked up at our hotel (exactly on time) and brought to a location 20 km before the wall. From there we biked to the wall. It was a great experience to bike through to a rural region of China. Before the hike we...More

From what I can tell from the map the bike location is not too far away. Get a taxi, it is not expensive. This bike tour is well worth the effort. Enjoy.

We did this with a large group of about 28 people, of our own group. I don't know how bike beijing is working with people wanting to join a group. I suppose it is possible though. I have seen couples joining.
