Definitely worth a visit. It doesn't take long but the history and architecture are all worth the visit

This place must be a secret place! Beautiful, green, quiet and not so many people. What we were able to see in the short time we were there was awesome! I'd definitely go back there to see more on a return visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful place full of history. Our tour guide organised a Tai Chi session for us in the park which was a wonderful experience. The temple itself (along with the other famous monuments) is breath taking and when at the top you can...More

Spare enough time to enjoy all the sections. It is Summer Palace 'ish (except this was built for religious purpose). Plenty of things to check-out here. We also love to sit back and enjoy the parks. We found lots of locals catching-up with friends (or...More

I was on the dragon tour, but we only saw the temple of heaven, but the park around it is amazing to walk! Please do that! I didn't do that and I'm very upset!

This is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design. Lots of people practicing Tai Chi and sitting quietly in the park.

A nice little hike to the top will get you to the Temple of Heaven. It offers fantastic views over the Forbidden City and across Beijing in general.

Despite shaded areas this is not a great place to go during the hot, Beijing summer. The temple, however, is stunning with great views on the city and park around. Plenty of interesting history, so make sure you go there with a guide as all...More
