After reading mixed reviews about the zoo, we decided to go anyway mainly to see the Pandas. Entry fee was 17 RMB pp which incl'd entry to the Panda arena. Venue was very large and spacey with a big range of animals available. The zoo is connected to the aquarium which you can visit for extra $. Grounds were very... More

It is easy to use the subway to go there . The ticket cost 14 rmbs. It isn't good in cold and rainy weather as many animals prefer to be hidden on their homes. The giant panda is the most characteristic animal in the zoo.

Thought with luck we may see Panda. Saw more than one and they are amazing. Even saw Polar Bears. You really need full day to see everything.

Never again will I visit this zoo. I have no other words than shocking and appaulling. The captivity of these animals is disgusting. The chinese (in general as I only saw Chinese do this) had no respect for the rules nor did the staff do anything when they broke these rules. Rules in a zoo are there for a reason... More

Ok, you have to meet the PANDAS! it is worth seeing them up close. Go to the Panda gift shop for fun. The golden monkeys were incredible. The gibbons were entertaining. The grounds are very clean and nice. The pond is relaxing and beautiful and nice place to sit and take a break. We never did figure out how to... More

Girafes, White Tiger, Cammels, Elephants (African and Indian), there is even an aquarium. The Zoo is very beautifull and for sure spend the whole day, a couple hours will not be enougth. Penguin place was... More

Not only do you have the Pandas but the grounds and lakes just beautiful. And so clean!! The weeping willows throughout must be all trimmed to the same length just lovely. We went at 9am and no crowds so very enjoyable just to stroll around.

The zoo is spacious with lots of rare animals. With the price, I think it is worth of my money because I can see pandas of course! You might need to spend half of the day to explore this zoo because it is big. I enjoyed visiting this place especially at the bird sanctuary. The swan, ducks are swimming at... More

A quick stop and we got to see those cute pandas, heck one can buy one at a reasonable price at the gift shop! The zoo is very large and extremely popular with the people of China. There is a lot to see here but be ready for long lines if you do not have a guide. We had a... More

Just a short visit to see Pandas. Nice that they are located very near the main entrance. Saw all 6 that were in residence at the time of my visit. 3 inside & 3 outside. Each in their own enclosure. All seemed contented with their surroundings & viewing areas are convenient to see them from various angles. Nice & clean,... More
