This was a perfect family day out. I've lived in Hong Kong for 20 years but never seen this side of it. We did a whole day tour of Sharp Island in the geopark and it was a fantastic experience. Blue skies, clear shallow water, corals, mangroves and unspoiled sandy beaches. I love being out on the water but am not an experienced kayaker, however Dave was a great teacher and we took it pretty slowly until we were a bit more confident, with plenty of stops to swim and talk about the history and geology of the region. He is incredibly knowledgable and informative and we enjoyed learning from him. I was also really surprised at the variety of shallow water corals we saw, although sadly there were few fish. Lunch was fantastic - a whole buffet of fillings with tortillas to make wraps out of, and he kept us topped up with water the whole way. We are already looking forward to booking again, hopefully a longer trip in another part of the geopark next time.

Kayaking with Dave was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Hong Kong. Dave had a lot of insights into Hong Kong culture, history and the lifestyle as well as sharing knowledge on sustainability and ecology. It was really great to have a tour guide who knew his stuff and has clearly got a lot of experience in the industry. Even though sea Kayaking was a new skill, it was relatively easy to learn the basics and Dave was very patient and informative, making sure we knew the right techniques from the get-go so as not to pickup bad habits along the way! Would highly recommend this trip for a different view of the bay and a great day out !

I did this trip with my dad at the start of November. We ended up having a private trip which was great. Dave is very knowledgeable about Hong Kong and the Stanley area/Tai Tam Bay. This was easily one of the best days of our trip. Would highly recommend.

Simply brilliant, easily the best day of the holiday! From start to finish we had huge smiles. Dave our tour guide was brilliant, his passion and knowledge for what he does and the local area was fantastic. He kept us amused with stories and tales and plenty of insightful knowledge of the area. The beaches and views we saw were spectacular, we wouldn't have seen this side of Hong Kong if it wasn't for this trip. We finished the day having a drink in the local which lead to more adventures on the holiday. We have got memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives all thanks to Dave and his amazing sea kayaking tour.
