There wasn't as much to do as I'd expected unless you take the boat ride. The most eye catching think is the big Jumbo floating restaurant. I took the boat tour, which was interesting but fairly brief.

Travelled from Kowloon on MTR, easy jaunt, a little confusing which exit to take but this mistake lead us to a lovely park walk which lead us down to the promenade. Very interesting well signed walk with plenty of information boards to read. Watch the...More

Worth a go-see is the expanse east of Aberdeen. Get off from the Wong Chuk Hang train station (South Island line) and just walk on. The Factory, one of the edifices in the area, grabs attention with larger-than-life comic-style mural painted by Mauro Marchesi of...More

We visited Aberdeen on the Big Bus Tour and hopped off to take a sampan ride around the harbor. We saw lots of small boats in the harbor and multi million dollar yachts. We also sailed by the Jumbo Floating Restaurant a Hong Kong landmark,...More

It is a nice drive through the Aberdeen Tunnel to Aberdeen on Hong Kong island. It is advisable to get off at the Aberdeen Promenade. It is just nice to walk around and see the fishing fleet

Aberdeen Harbour is a must do on most of the sightseeing tours of Hong Kong. It’s probably our least favourite part to be honest, but you do get a different view of life here. The person driving the sampan is usually a grumpy old lady,...More

Took a Sampan ride around Aberdeen harbor. Lot's to see from the water, way more than you could ever see by land. For example, take a look at the picture I attached. People live on these things!

..than anything else. nice cruising yachts and the Jumbo Restaurant are the highlights. It was not worth it to visit this part of HKG.

A quick 20 minute ride around the bay that was included with our hop on hop off ticket. A nice little trip to break up the day. Recommend if on the hop on hop off tour or if want to do something different.
