I LOVE GARDENS! When I travel I make it a point to visit as many gardens as I can. What can I say? I love things that can photosynthesize. Anyway, this is easily accessed from the MTR and we went in the morning. The magic of this garden was the moment you step in, somehow all the city noise got... More

If you stay in Hong Kong for a couple of days and have enough time, make sure you find yourself at Diamond Hill. You will find two major attractions of Hong Kong, Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery (MTR Diamond Hill Exit C2). Within 500 metres, you can easily reach here. When we came up, we found a huge... We got off here and we were on a cruise and had a day in Hong Kong. There were free shuttle bus from the pier and from here, to take the subway any where else in HK.

Very easy to access from Diamond Hill MTR station, the Nan Lian Garden is quite exquisite. The backdrop of the modern high-rise living adds to the atmosphere. The garden provides many surprises around each corner and boasts a nice cafe and the best gift shop we encountered in Hong Kong. Access from the garden to the Chi Lin Nunnery is... More

We were dropped off here on a ship's shuttle and found it a convenient starting point for a day out in Hong Kong. The MTR is easy it manage and cheap too. The shopping centre is small but worth a walk around and there is an M&S store there too! We found travelling from here to Lantau Island, Kowloon etc... More

Nan lian garden which is a very peaceful exquisite garden of trees rocks and ponds. And chi lin nunnery. Both located very close to the mtr. Then there is the plaza Hollywood which is connected to the mtr where you can get all the things you need. Easy to find on thr green mtr line.

No diamonds here but a MTR station by that name which gives access to Nan Lian Garden (exquisite rockery, large pond with koi fishes, a golden pavilion, clipped trees and bird songs) and Chi Lin Nunnery (a beautiful operating large Buddhist temple, build mostly in wood). These closely connected places are a 3mn walk away from the Diamond Hill MTR... More

Diamond Hill is classed as Part of New Kowloon. It is a great interchange location the MTR links with central are excellent and the bus routes on to the new Territories East and North are excellent. I was a bit circumspect about how long or how reliable transport was. They are excellent. The bus and taxi ranks are in the... More
