OK place but not a place to go on your own as most people are in groups. Tables only at the back of bars as all the front tables are well filled.

Please check it out at night and you will find the night life in Hong Kong. Walking around the street at night and having some drinks by bar hopping was fun. There were restaurants opened during the day. It was a hilly area so it's not good for those have difficulty walking.

Lots of restaurants and bars. I like Hard Rock Café and Gordon Ramsey's restaurant Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, but there is plenty more...

LKF is brimming with tourists but still a good spot to go for some night cap, drinks and maybe some dancing. I would say some bars are slightly overpriced - the place being tourist central. Location is central which is great and there are a number of good restos nearby.

A great place for enjoying a drink during some very long happy hours, some until 10pm. Get a sit on the street, its a great place to observe some of the very interesting fashion choices in Hong Kong.

A real busy buzzy place to be at night. Lots of hip bars and places to eat. We loved sitting people watching.

This is a reclined street filled with bars and restaurants. The place looks rather dull during the day, but springs into life after dark.

We wandered around, dined and had a couple of drinks, taking in the entertaining activities around us. I wouldn't say its incredibly family friendly. I found these other reviews amusing, and apt: “The infamous slope of Lan Kwai Fong is definitely worth visiting. Clubs, restaurants, boutiques, pubs and so much more to explore along the way”. “…getting deliberately drunk, cheap-... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
