If you've got the dough, then by all means go! It's not for people on a budget unless you are into people watching and window shopping. It is a great kick off point for other attractions and you can beat the heat and get some great food to eat also. A very nice mall.

One of many such malls in Hong Kong, offering lots of top-end shopping, if that is what you want. We found wandering the streets nearby to be more interesting. However, it is connected to a network of elevated walkways which connect various buildings in the area.

Lovely mall near the harbour on Hong Kong side. Many shops and very good Lane Crawford Department store. Plenty of decent restaurants but crowds are common. For better Chinese restaurants, you need to make advance reservations.

HK has all these walkways which are a much more efficient way to walk around and avoid all the traffic and cross walks on the street level. The walkway around this mall is air conditioned to boot which you will appreciate in the hot summer days. Lots of very high end store to window shop or do some serious shopping.... More

I was here with my friend Winston. This is a very good mall with both upscale and more mainstream shops. Certainly a very good place to visit

The IFC Mall is a busy high end shopping centre. It is not for daily use by local people as it is full of the most famous brand names in the world. It is always busy and is close to the a Star Ferry and Airport Express Station. So always plenty of tourists flowing through. The Apple Store is magnificent... More

If you like shopping, the place to be, plus more. Is at Central, where the MTR, Airport express train leaves, from, as well as Peak Bus #9, and the bus to Stanley markets, M270.

The mall has a number of popular stores for tourists to shop it. They also have a various restaurants and cafes to grab a meal at. There is also a supermarket where you can buy a number of different things to take back with you. The mall is right above the central/hong Kong mtr station and you can also take... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
