The big buddha is amazing and worth the visit. The Tai O fishing village is good too. But if you can find a privite guide or limited tour to do just these two things, plus the cable car down from the buddha, do that, as...More

The cable car ride tkes about 30 minutes. The cars hold up to eight passengers. At the end of the ride is a large budda on the top of a hill. Well worth the price

If visiting Lantau Island and going on the gondola make sure that there is no low cloud about as it will spoil the views.

Hike to Tai O, DB, or Mui Wo, enjoy the beach at Cheung Sha. Watch out for the overcrowded Buses on the weekend. Disney area is relaxing as well. Many things to see, many hiking trails, cyclists on the weekend between TC and Disney.

Lots to see here. If you're planning on going downtown or to the pier be prepared for at least 30 min taxi ride. Confirm the rate with the driver BEFORE you get in the taxi. They're pretty honest but you don't want to go be...More
