Even though it seems far from the city center, this beach is easily accessible as there’s lots of buses going to it. We decided to take the mtr to Ocean Park and walk by the coastal road pass Deep Water Bay before we reach Repulse Bay. It’s a very easy beautiful walk that takes around an hour or so. Repulse Bay is located quite urban and yet has that secluded beach feel. It has a maintained beach toilet for cleaning up after your swim in the beach. There’s restaurants by the beach and an arcade where you can buy water or sundries to eat by the beach. It’s family friendly too.

Great beach to unwind. The sunset during autumn months is spectacular. The nearby Tin Has temple is also beautiful. There are great food options near the beach and the sanitation facilities are also good.

Repulse Bay is a public beach with restaurant, shop, toilet facilities nearby, kind of convenient, but always crowded with people, especially recently there are tour operator taking hundred of people to "visit" this beach. If you're looking for enjoying a different holiday, nature, quite island, I would recommend going to a little island just 8 minutes boat-distance away from repulse bay by taking a speedboat. You can go snorkelling, enjoy a even more crystal clear water there.

The beach looks like a dream and is not crowded. However, despite cleaning efforts, the water is filled with literal garbage. You can find everything from food containers to toothbrushes floating around you if you dare to go in the water. I believe this debris is washed in from the sea. You cannot rent seats or umbrellas, so you need to bring your own or sit next to one of the trees planted on the beach to get some shade. If you visit, stay at the far end, as many tourists arrive by bus (near the public bathrooms) and sit right next to you to get shade. They also took pictures of us, which felt a little weird while we were in our bathing suits. I hope we find a way to stop polluting our seas and make this beach a paradise.
