There is an interesting Mid-Autumn festival decoration arrangement at the fountain in front of the historic Canton Railway Clock Tower in TST. Presently, there are six large scale balloon rabbits in seated positions reading books or ipad devices. The arrangement is interesting and makes for photogenic opportunities during the day and night when the fountain is lit up against the dark night sky.
This is something fun to see while the Mid-Autumn decorations remain up on display for the holiday season. Related, the fountain is usually decorated with Chinese New Year themed decor as well, this is something nice to see in late January or early February during the new years holiday as well.

The Kowloon Clock Tower is a Declared Monument of Hong Kong. The tower began life as part of the main station on the Kowloon-Canton Railway. Canton is now known as Guangzhou. It's a landmark of Hong Kong. It's near the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui, on Victoria Harbor. The clock tower is a sturdy structure of red brick and granite, with a clock with four faces, showing the correct time. Anyone who goes to Kowloon will see the clock tower. It's 44 meters tall (145 feet), with a 7 meter lightning rod (23 feet).

Lovely building at the end of the Avenue of Stars. Looks really nice at night when it is lit up. During the period we visited there was a huge dragon for Chinese New Year that was also lit up at night. Although you cant visit the inside you can take a glimpse through the window at the big bell.

I enjoy history and viewing relics of times past. The clock-tower is the sole remaining link of the Kowloon Station on the old Kowloon–Canton Railway. The tower reaches a height of 44m with a 7m lightning rod fixed atop. Able-bodied visitors can climb the internal staircase to the top, unfortunately currently closed for maintenance. It's an imposing landmark constructed of granite and red bricks with a clock face on each side.

We went to visit on 20.4.2024 and it was very crowded. Since this is the departure and arrival point of both buses and small ferries, it is always crowded. The tower is also located here in all its majesty. It would be a very good choice for photography.

The tower of the former Kowloon-Canton Railway Station offers iconic architecture, recalling the region's railway history. While its retro design has its charm, some might find its appeal limited in comparison to other historic sites in Hong Kong. However, history and architecture buffs will surely find an interesting visit

This tower is dwarfed by lots of other buildings. This has sadly become part of Star Ferry pier. Sad to see it like this former grand terminus.

The clock tower is important from a heritage perspective to the local residents but its not a particularly important attraction or stop for visitors. You can't help but see the clock tower when you are walking the Avenue of Stars towards the Star Ferry or when are about to take/arrive on/from the Star Ferry in TST. You really just need a quick look at the clock tower, take a photo and its time to move on.
The clock tower is situated in front of the harbor and there is a nice, narrow reflection pool that contributes to decent pictures. However, the real star of the area is the Victoria Harbor itself which you can view wonderfully from the park-like area right in front of the clock tower. There are many benches and places to sit, rest and just look at the mighty HK skyline, which is best done at night in the dark. We still regularly stop here to admire the harbor and skyline.
On the basis that you'll see the clock tower anyway when you visit the Avenue of Stars and/or Star Ferry, we recommend a quick stop and view of the clock tower. Otherwise, this is not worth making a specific effort to see. Just catch it as you pass by doing more important sightseeing in HK.

There are people who are doing all sorts of unsociable things here, writing graffiti and whistling at tourists. Security guards needs to be here at all times.
