We took the cable car to the hill top... it was an amazing experience... the weather was wow... We took a round trip ... once you reach the top... there are various tourist places to eat, shop and see... I love how it is really...More

The cable car provides excellent views on the way up to the Tian Tan Buddha. While not necessarily cheap (we spent $60 USD for 2 adults and 1 child) the ride takes around 30 minutes and you are able to see the airport, the South...More

We only travelled down from the Buddha but as we looked upwards we can say in retrospect that it must be amazing going up and seeing the Buddha statue for the first time. If travelling up or down I’m not sure if the glass bottom...More

I rode the tram on a misty morning in November but was happy to see that it was sunny in the mountains. It was a beautiful, long tram ride. The first view of the Buddha surrounded by greenery in the mountains is very special. I...More

Great view from the cabin over the airport and nature of hong kong. We did the single trip and go back by bus. You also can go back by ferry, but we figured that out too late.

The shops are expensive and crowded. Save your money until you get back to the city. Walk through it to the Buddha

It was an amazing experience. It's a must go in Hong Kong. The day we went there was foggy and we couldn't see the Buddha, it was sad but still a very good experience.

Have been before but still enjoyed going back. In the mornings the cable car ride line can be very long going up so either pay for a fast track, get there early or pay for the glass bottom cars as that line seemed to go...More

Great views across Hong Kong and lots of fun seeing the view through the glass bottom too. Lovely was to travel to the big Buddha. Surprisingly cool with the air coming in as you move, expected it to be uncomfortably hot!

Depends on the lines (queue) I waited less than 10 mins. The trip to the top is about 25 minutes. 5 minute walk to the base of the Big Buddha. Lines to go back down were longer, maybe 20 min wait. It was not crowed when... More
