In general, a poor experience. Felines and pandas In comparison to the other comments I've previously seem here, the panda and feline conditions have improved a little, since they have a place where to hide from the sun. However, the space for the big felines...More

This place, like all other zoos in China, has a sub-zero conservation ethos. Though the zoo itself is beautiful and has lovely grounds, the animals are poorly cared for such that all birds have nasty, dirty feathers and all mammals look mangy (I would venture...More

The living conditions for the animals are atrocious, they are kept in tiny concrete pens with little attempt to recreate their natural habitat. Animals look dirty, unhappy and poorly kept. They even have an exhibit with dogs, a waste of time. If you like animals...More

This zoo has a large variety of animals. Penguins, elephants, tigers, and more. It also has two amusement parks, so it is great for kids. However the food court was overpriced for the cheap food. Also some of the cages are too small for the...More

The zoo is huge. A lot of animals. A good variety of species as well. I'd say it could do with some improvements but it's not too bad. We were there from 7:45am right up till 2pm. We were so tired that we decided to...More

Difficulties started already with parking (waiting in line to parking), walking with stroler is more difficult then in other Chinese landmarks which are not best practises anyhow... I would recomend it only when you don't have idea how to spend your time.
