The temple area is large and you need to walk to get to all the sections. First up would be the Beamless Hall, with three archways on the front and rear sides respectively. The structure was built with bricks from the bottom to the top...More

The three main sites to visit in Zijin Mountain Scenic Area, just east of Nanjing's city centre, are all worth the effort, but the effort is supreme. The Linggu Temple is very hard on the feet to visit and if you have any sort of...More

The temple was not too crowded with tourists and I didn't find it significantly different from other temples which I had visited. Nevertheless, you can consider having your lunch in the vicinity as there is noodles stall next to the temple selling only vegetarian noodles...More

Building is pretty impressive structure for 14th century but real interest is that it contains a fairly unadvertised wax museum of tableaux of Chinese history in 19th and 20th C. Including lots about Opium Wars, Boxer rebellion, Dowager Empress, Sun Yat-sen and up to Communist...More

The temple close very early at 4:30pm. There is a pagoda and an exhibit that was said to be worth the visit. However, as I arrive at 4:30pm, I am only able to view the closing of the temple

Nice place to visit especially the temple. There is nothing spectacular but a pleasant place to stroll and enjoy the afternoon especially on a cool end autumn day.

Located near the Ming tomb, this temple has a very nice scenic setting. It's also much less touristy than the nearby Ming Tomb and Sun Yat Sen memorials. The temple itself is quite interesting as well.
