It is a historically poetic river. By now it still looks nice with many shops, restaurants,etc. A night visit should be nice.

Fabulous experience taking the boat around the place and see all the old buildings and hear the story of the 7 ladies :) Very traditional Chinese culture felt deeply there. The ticket is for 80 ¥ per person nice boad and lovely senary. ...

Recommend a visit in the evening, as there are very great light in the darkness. There is also a performance here every night. In the area there are many shops, shopping centers, restaurants and pubs.

Many foreigners find it a good place to taste the local cuisine. Within the area are cultural attractions, arts,shopping ,and entertainment . Old style buildings stand along the banks.
