This is the best place to watch Wayang Orang (Javanese Opera/Ballet), theatrical performance based on Javanese/Hindu folklore, in Jakarta. The in-house group is a well-known troupe who has performed for ages. Come here every Saturday at 8 pm and watch the show which last until midnight. Bharata Purwa shows human puppet show, or locally called Wayang Orang, every Saturday Night from 8 p.m untill midnight. Gedung Bharata is the name of their building that has a weekly performance every Saturday 9pm. With affordable ticket Rp50.000 (moreless 4$), we could enjoy a very very percious cultural show from Indonesia. Human puppet with Mahabarata or Ramayana story will play in Javanesse language. Wayang Orang Bharata Jakarta located in Jl Kalileo around Pasar Senen and show time is only in every Saturday 8.30pm, here you can find a real javanese dance and music culture with some titles of it is from India like Mahabarata and Baratayuda. The genuine Javanese haute couture art show in the middle of infested Senen area. Get your ticket reserved in the morning otherwise it will be sold out at night
