Diving -amazing!... but semi-red light district

Great diving, friendly people, easy to get to (3 hr bus, 1 hr ferry from Manila), however - is a bit of a red light district. As a young single female I still really enjoyed it... read more

I don't know what everyone is talking about, but it doesn't sound like the Saban I visited! It's a beautiful place for more than diving. The beach that you first see when you arrive on bus is spectacular. It's a nice place to relax and walk around. You can walk to a nice waterfall along a beautiful coastline. And hike... More

Great diving, friendly people, easy to get to (3 hr bus, 1 hr ferry from Manila), however - is a bit of a red light district. As a young single female I still really enjoyed it - felt safe and not sinister, but consider staying at White Beach if you want a more family-friendly get away.

Sabang is a nice place to go for a weekend get away it is pretty quiet and a good place for diving. There are several beaches nearby so I would check out white beach which is not too far as well.

Ok move on - nothing to see here but diving. Yeah some great dive sites but beaches are poor, getting here is a hassle. If you are in the Phil's lots of better places to go .

There is nothing much to do there. If you are looking for a beach or any other beach activities, it's not your place to stay. But if you are into diving then its a great place and you must stay here. Though you can go to the other areas or beach riding a tricycle, Jeepney or even a baot. but... More

Whether diving or Snorkelling this is the best place from Manila. Livelier and not sedate like White Beach.

Sabang is a diving resort for those wishing to spend a few intensive days diving or doing dive certification(s) at about a third of what it costs in Europe or the Maldives. Dive in coral and with turtles right of the beach or climb onto an outrigger and within minutes experience some of the best dives money can buy. From... More

We stayed in the area for a dive trip, decided to walk in to town. Other than dive shops and a few bars there wasn't anything to see. Not even a shop to buy t-shirts.

The people on the island are very nice, the diving is awesome and the food is very good. This is a 3rd world country however as long as you keep that in mind, this is a great place to go.

If you love macro photography and underwater photography then this is a diver's paradise! There's lesser time of traveling from one dive spot to another as compared to most diving destinations. Go on a night dive and you'll see a completely different underwater world!
