Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the many unique islands in Bacuit Bay. You will need a boat and an experienced guide. Quiet coves and secluded beaches

We stopped here for lunch on Tour C. The snorkeling is really nice and the beach is great for relaxing. I have to give credit to our tour guides because they prepared a really good lunch by the beach, with a really beautiful presentation.

There are several beaches on Tapiutan Island lining the Tapiutan Strait. On our tour C we stopped for lunch at the furthest south one. It was very crowded and wasn't very nice sand as there was a lot of rocks and broken coral in it. There is a reef running all along the beach that has, sadly, been very badly damaged. That being said, I saw more fish here than any other place in El Nido so that made up for the poor corals a little bit. After our lunch, we snorkeled south to the bottom of the island to see if we could find a sea turtle. Further south the corals became much nicer as they were further from anywhere good to land.

This island is the go-to island on tours especially during lunch time. Since the shore is generally larger than the other island, and the wide area available for snorkeling and kayaking, tour guides usually pick this spot for preparing their meals for the tourists.
While waiting for the food preparations, it would be nice to do snorkeling around the area. There are a lot of different kinds of fishes and corals. We even saw a really small alligator near our boat (too small enough to bite, thankfully).
It would be good if your tour guides take you there earlier than the normal lunch hour because it can get a little crowded on the peak of noon. I have to give credit to our tour guides from Telesfora, because they prepared a really good lunch by the beach, with a really beautiful presentation and plating compared to the other tour guides.

This is one of the beaches listed on the Tour C offered in El Nido. There is not one Tapiutan Beach but rather several beaches along the Tapiutan Straight. The beach we visited had clear waters and was great for snorkeling and the view was amazing as the straight goes through 2 islands with high jagged cliffs on each side. The boat was a little unnerving as the waters of the straight was calm with little waves but the ride out from the Straight on the West Philippine Sea side was a little rough with high waves. It was as if the sea was churning with the clash of waters from the straight and the water from the sea. The Masinloc Shrine is also along the Tapiutan Straight. You need an experienced guide.
