A great beach to visit and relax the water is amazing only a short tricycle trip from town and if you are feeling adventurous then definitely try the zip line tour at the end of the beach

I took the tricycle from downtown El Nido to Las Cabanas beach, it was 150 pesos. it is sandy beach with few cafes and restaurants. Nice place to hang and see the sunset!

Not the unspoilt scenery that you would see on the postcards... partially quite dirty, lots of building work going on around it, sellers of cheap beads hassling...At the far end you can still hang out and have a nice drink whilst watching the sun set....More

Not the best beach in El Nido but the closest one. Sand is very nice, sea is not special. Mostly without waves. At seaside, there are some pubs and restaurants. Sunset is spectacular..

It’s a long stretch beach. There are shops along the whole stretch so don’t worry if you’re hungry. The last shop at the far end is beautiful.

It is safe, and previous responses are correct about theft etc. But, be forewarned, the Philippines is not "backpacker friendly". What I mean is, if you go to Thailand, Cambodia, etc., there are multitudes of hostels... More
