Being repainted now

Lovely church. For the moment, they are repainting the interior in white. I liked the blue better. In front of the church there's a (not so very beautiful) statue of Jose Rizal.

When we visited the cathedral there was a trial wedding. Meaning: Different couples got the ceremony and procedure explained. Really cool to watch. The Cathedral is nice and perfect for a little rest inside.

This is a nice church which is worth a look if you are in town. It's in a good condition and is very pretty in blue. It's a pretty large church with a garden in front of it. The inside is nice but not that spectacular. If you are in town have a look especially as it's next to the... More

The cathedral and grounds are a little tired and need some work. The spires of the cathedral are nice architecture. Inside the church is some lovely carved woodwork.

this church had a wedding while we were there which in itself was great to watch via a lattice screen so as not to disturb the wedding. There is a lot of amazing history, museum pieces, stone walls of immensely thick blocks & a internment wall inside the church complex.

We walked around the city for an afternoon and came to see the cathedral. It's a nice, peaceful and cool place to stop a while. No entrance fee. Do take the time to visit the restored garrison behind the cathedral (the site of the Palawan massacre) which is also free.

Very big church exactly opposite Plaza Cuartel and adjacent to Rizal Park. No body inside but seems that it is well maintained.
