Its a shame that the Baclayon Church is closed for now since the earthquake. Wooden fences cordon the area from would-be visitors. The church building has suffered extensive damage and no one is allowed to enter.

This was one of the most beautiful and oldest churches in the Philippines. But the damage from the 2013 earthquake is so massive that the church will never be the same again. Truly terrible for such a beautiful place.

The church was destroyed by the earthquake Oct 2013 but some parts of it still remain. The museum show many custom and status of Christian. Entrance fee is 50PHP, it can be included in your day tour in Bohol.

This is a nice stop over when you're strolling around Bohol. The church is still under renovation and hoping they will preserve the beauty of this church.
