Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are three murals by Yip Yew Chong here. They are Home at Blk 74, Bird Corner at Blk 71 and Pasar and Fortune Teller at the back lane of Blk 72 near to the Tiong Bahru Community Centre. The murals depicts our lives in the good old days.
There are other murals painted by him in Everton, Chinatown etc.

I visited this place along with my friend. one day we planned to visit the streets of singapore and searched the net for details. this particular street was first on our list. The day was cloudy and soft breeze was flowing when we reached at the Mural point. it looked as if we were looking at a real scene going on in front of us. the murals are so beautifully painted that you feel like standing in front of them and keep on looking at them. good place for photography and to make some fond memories of Singapore. Do keep this in your visit list if you are going to Singapore.

Not many seem to visit this neighbourhood. It’s good to see the murals - just do your search to know where (blocks) these are located. Ended the couple of hours here with a stop at the Tiong Bahru bakery.

There are 3 different murals by a local artist, Yip Yew Chong. Very photogenic and they reflect Singapore's old days... if you are around the area, recommended to visit!
