Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great mall, great massage at level 4! Excellent experience, will definitely highly recommend this mall to anyone looking for a mall that can 'do it all'. Will also suggest to try their massage at level 4, FootNote Reflexology. Therapists are very skilled and prices very reasonable too!

I dropped by this mall for grocery shopping. The mall is still new and conveniently located with connection to MRT station.

The mall is not huge, but with 2 basement levels where you can grab food and grocery. For me, this mall is not for fashion shopping, but to get daily necessities.

Great new shopping mall in Paya Lebar with lots of eateries

PLQ is conveniently located next to Paya Lebar MRT, together with Paya Lebar Square and SingPost Centre.

The mall is relatively new so everything looked nice when I visited. But it is actually quite small compared to other malls in the country, so I really don't get all the other reviews raving about how spacious it is.

There is a bank, an NTUC Finest, a Starbucks and several restaurants, and a food court on L5, but the selection of food venders on B2 is not too impressive. The range of retail shops is also quite limited, with H&M and Uniqlo being the two largest tenants.

Overall, I think it is very nice, but not worth a special trip as it was too small to keep me interested after an hour or so.

Had always noticed long queues for this casual restaurant on the ground floor of Nex Serangoon. Saw there was none at this new restaurant in the spanking new Paya Lebar quarter.

Lovely sociable and efficient staff but menu was nothing different ( think
Swensens or 18 Chefs). I tried the main of salmon with mango pasta. Wow just as well I don't have a huge appetite - meagre portion. Wouldn't return to Hot Tomato, even with the introductory $10 discount at this new outlet.

The new Mecca for foodies, this 'quarter' (lovely name reminiscent of coolie quarters but actually more like Latin quarter or some cultural enclave) welcomes you with a vast open-air space ringed by intriguing new-age kiosks like the free-range chicken rice concept and the coffee outlet (Morphine) that serves its caffeine disappointingly in paper cups but is based on local bean roasts.
The main building on the right houses a huge Starbucks and several beverage outlets with cakes and sandwich sets but the main draw for me is the Fairprice
Finest with very fresh fish and seafood offerings and the cinema (Shaw) on the fourth level. The fine dining options are surprisingly popular (Tung Lok) as is the food court, KopiTime (unsurprisingly).
Retail outlets are the usual clothing, make-up and lifestyle offerings with little that's new. Not much in the way of exciting new decor or design but the buzz seems to come from the way the crowds enjoy the food and beverage opportunities.
