I have been attracted to this 'Gotham City' building from the first time I ever saw it, which was many years ago. And it did not disappoint when I finally made got there, it was simply stunning. The architecture has been taken straight from the movie set (Batman). It takes you back to an era when things were non-minimalist, in... More

Seen ‘Gotham City’ in Singapore yet? Yup, Singapore has an art-deco style building that’s referred affectionately to as Batman-City or Gotham City! The mishmash fusion of east-meets-west, jaw-dropping office building comes complete with gargoyles, sculptures and statues surrounding the area. Although it looks dark and foreboding (like Gotham City), just walk on in, there are no guards to stop you... More

This is a beautiful building to stumble by on my way to Arab Street in Singapore. It is pristine! Be sure to walk into the courtyard and then into the lobby! Beautiful statues are through out! It is a treasure hidden amongst older lesser maintained buildings ! Wonderful

I was being shown around Singapore for a day by a friend who said I should prepare myself for something over-the-top. And there it was, Parkview. My age-old gripe is that buildings these days (in the UK at least) are built to last 30 years. I disagreed with m friend - I didn't see it as over-the-top, but a fabulous... More

My best discovery in Singapore for sure was completely blown away by what the locals call the batman building. The most expensive office building in Singapore this place will totally blow you away from the amazing bronze statues outside (Churchill, Plato, Socrates, Shakespeare, Picasso, Raffles himself and many many more) this building is just incredible. Then you go inside and... More

With Gotham-harkening architecture and insides the like of Bioshock, this building is a must-see, especially for anyone even semi-interested in video games or art deco. This place is just gorgeous. It's actually a hotel lobby, but it's so incredibly decorous besides that that it's definitely worth visiting.

We went here on a Saturday evening to have a drink because the friend I was visiting (expat in Singapore) wanted to show me the 'Batman Building' and see the 'Wine Angels'. I believe the locals call it the Batman Building because it looks like it belongs in Gotham City, it is a lovely building, with a very nice bar... More
