If you are expecting bustling farmers' market, you will be in for much disappointment. Most of the shops are closed. Even the fishing/prawning pond is closed and the pond is left to dry up.

this place is now closed - with the exception of a couple of unsavoury drink/food joints. Don't bother ... the owners should also delist the attractions, there are none now. A wasted journey - don t go..
A number of attractions have stopped including the prawn fishing. There is an animal corner, you can buy a basket of vegetables, carrots, turtle feed and bird seeds for $5. There are catfish, turtles, rabbits, parrots, guinea pigs and goats.

Never spent so little time at an animal centre. Most animals are visibly hungry or stressed (such as the goats and rabbits). I felt terrible for the beautiful parrots stuck in tiny cages. We were in and out of there in 10min. Regret going.
Nice, quaint place. Don't expect much because it is a "kampong"-style place with minimalist fluff. Animals are tame and quite friendly, with the kids enjoying themselves feeding them and interacting with the cute parrots! We followed that up with a good dinner at the Chinese...More
