Went there after reading about it on trip advisor and it was fantastic! The lovely lady guided us through the experience as we were a bit anxious about it. It is an unusual feeling at the start and after a few minutes it is very nice feeling on your feet. Feet were very smooth after the session. The lady was... More

My wife and I went to Alleviate based on previous Trip Advisor reviews, in search of a new experience. We were not disappointed. Stephen, the proprietor, is a wonderful conversationalist. The fish spa experience itself was indeed novel and hard to describe. You really do have to experience it for yourself!

Had a fun experience this afternoon and the fish are always hungry for more. Would definitely put a visit to Alleviate Fish Spa on my next trump to Chinatown, Singapore for the tingly feeling of these little munchkins dining off my feet. There are evidently some additional health benefits as promoted by our friendly host. Got a cool video of... More

Went to the fish spa. There were 4 of us, we had a great time, not sure it did anything for my feet, but it was a great experience. Had a good time.

I had never heard of this before but it was on my friend's bucket list so we stumbled on this spa right outside the subway and decided to give it a try. It's a weird feeling, pretty disgusting on some level, but I must say it did feel a bit euphoric afterwards. Nice owner videotaped it and told us about... More

I'm a bit of a fish-spa enthusiast so trust me when I say this is the only fish spa experience you ever need. It's clean, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable as host Steven entertains with stories and knowledge on how different fish are specialized in alleviating migraine and insomnia while others are exfoliating experts. Quality price for quality experience. Two thumbs... More

Steven is a fascinating host with so many stories about his fish and the growth of his business. It is extremely clean, and the tanks sparkling. The highlight was his talent for catching great videos and photos of the visit. He knows his stuff. 5 stars!

We selected this spa based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed! The owner - Steven - was knowledgeable and gracious. The spa is clean and well kept. Our feet felt fabulous after the fish were finished - we learned that the fish actually scrape the dead skin off your feet - not eating it - but searching for... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
