It’s no wonder why St Andrew’s Cathedral is one of Singapore’s most treasured works of architecture. Gazetted as a national monument on 1973, you’ll stand in awe at its majestic facade, with extended pinnacles and a glossy white exterior.

Quiet place to sit down and have a rest while admiring the architecture. Good escape from the noisy and bustling environment of the city outside. Great for photos and abit of history. Staff are friendly to visitors and would give short tours of the place. The entrance to the Cathedral is located next to the City Hall MRT station and... More

This church is situated right in the center of action, surrounded by malls and hotels. Old and beautiful church and visitors can simply walk in to enjoy the tranquility this place has to offer.

This place is lovely to look at both from the outside and inside. Walk around and look at the memorial places. There are also services which you can attend. Outside there is a lovely park, which on a Sunday many people come to enjoy and meet up.

We visited the Cathedral recently. Beautifully designed Cathedral. Located right in the centre of the city, just outside the City Hall MRT. Quite a big campus, considering the central location.

We attended a Cambridge choir Christmas performance at this church and were most impressed with it's quiet elegance and beauty, excellent and warm organisation and hospitality shown to seat and accommodate the large crowd who turned up for the lunch performance. The church grounds were significant considering this is right in the centre of the city. Noticed that they gave... More

we went there to check out this church, there was no mass during that time and most of the people who went there were just taking pictures. the seats near the center aisle are divided individually and have arm rests. they have singaporean and english bibles/hyms/mass guides on the back of the chairs.

A beautiful Anglican church built by convicts in the 1800s. Go in for a quiet time and admire the architecture.

A very pleasant building in the heart of the city and in contrast to a lot of the city. A place of worship.

Most people come across the cathedral as they walk by. Its well used by the locals. So if you want to see a good community church and not a tourist ruin this is worth a visit. Nothing spectacular about it, just a very pleasant escape from the heat and noise for some nice contemplation of the soul.

Our fist attempt to visit was unsuccessful as the nave was closed for repairs. Went back the next day and the first thing we noticed was how busy the environs were with community activities. The church itself was quite full of people sitting in contemplation. It's not a huge cathedral but lovely and light.
