We did the French Connection room. Quite cool; the ladies at the entrance were really nice, and even let us more time.

Having done more than 30 rooms around the world, I can honestly say this is the worst room I've been in... The atmosphere (and decorations) are lacking to non-existing, the ridles are not original and in some cases just plane confusing and the clues come with the operator getting in the room and practically solving the thing for you... Avoid... More

Ok this is my 3rd time return to BreakOut! Please bear in mind I dont live in Singapore but I travelled 4 times to Singapore last year and Breakout has become one of my major travel itinerary I wouldn't want to miss! This is how awesome the games are but not as wonderful as the people who behind all these... More

If you like solving puzzles, and are sick of the weather either being hot, or very hot I highly recommend going to BreakoutGames. The puzzles are lots of fun, and while challenging they are also manageable.

We went as a group of 3 and had a great time with The Scientist! Just missed the 1hr mark by about a minute (we haven't got much escape room experience though). I liked that the puzzles were non-linear, and the hints that were provided were well-structured - not too obvious or too unhelpful. Another great plus point is that... More

My family of four choose the Scientist one and we worked together to figure out the mystery. What I loved most about this place is my youngest son who is 3 was able to join us and although he couldn't help much he was able to somewhat be apart of it. We didn't figure out the puzzle completely but I... More

We have tried these places in Hong Kong and Bali recently, so we were pleased to find Breakout. It was good value for money and great fun. The room we tried and plenty of clues to find and we had excellent support from the team. Definitely worth trying, on a dry or wet day.

We were there for some away-from-work time and hopefully some good teambuilding time. It went much better than expected!! Good setup. All clues, devices were in good order. Location was good, very easy to locate. We actually find the overall setup comfy, which helped as we were there after some tiring hours of dragonboat. It was challenging and more difficult... More

One night in June, my family tested our investigative skills by signing up for a mystery. We were given 1 hour to solve the puzzle, while inside a locked room. The verdict - it was truly an exciting game, especially if done with family or friends. It gives you a chance to work together, sort of like a team building... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
