Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The premises is good to go in with respectable clothing. I am of the opinion that this temple complex needs to be cleaned rigorously.

It was a small beautiful temple in Chinatown. It was so colorful so it was really easy to recognize it. I was there to worship lord Ganesha but it was too crowded. I saw him but I couldn't walk inside. People praying around like there was no other place to spleen in anymore

We came came across this temple when walking back from a cafe we had been to for lunch. The temple is beautiful and is newly renovated according to our taxi driver.

The Sri Layan temple is a short walk from main Chinatown and is opened at limited hours. It’s beautiful to view from the outside, quite colourful.

A beautifully decorated Hindu temple! We got there in time to watch a service. It is wonderful that the place is public so that we can witness the beautiful service that they put on. It was great to be able to witness a little bit of the Hindu culture!

We arrived at the temple when they were having their ceremony , we took part in it, very different from our RC mass, there were lots of people walking quickly around it so were did not get a chance to see the outside.

Beautiful temple in Chinatown. I stayed around the corner from it and every time I passed there was a lovely vibe of reverence and friendliness about the place.
When there were services on there was beautiful music, masses of offerings and the intoxicating smell of insense.
Outside of services I was made to feel very welcome by the locals. It's a beautiful temple with a stunningly ornate door and portico. Inside is beautiful too, lovely iconography and decor.
It is well worth a visit if you are in Chinatown. If you are visiting the Buddha Tooth Temple it's worth the 5 minute walk up to see this charming temple.
