This memorial was magnificent. It jus encapsulated what the feelings were of the whole people. It put a lump in my throat, forever. Thank you.

Was there in 1984 and 1990. It brings it back home about the lives lost on both sides. We never want those times again. This monument serves to remind us of that.

This memorial is right on the main road and reminds us of the bully tactics of the Argentinians back in 1982. Having a look around the Falklands make you understand how hard the infantry soldier had it.

Just a block or two north of Victory Green, on the west side of the town's main street, facing Prince William Bay is a beautiful monument "In Memory of Those Who Liberated Us...14 June 1982".

An important monument for the islanders, situated centrally. One hopes that no further loss of life will occur in the future

While it does not rival some of the monuments and memorials in Washington DC, it is a nice way to reflect and learn more about the conflict. Stanley is such a peaceful place but this memorial is a tribute to what occurred. This is memorial...More

Stop by this memorial. It won't take long, it's free, and tells the story of the war. There's a lot of historical sites in the general vicinity- walking around the are is worth it!
