We've done the ascent with an Antu Rios y Montanas company and we were absolutely delighted with them. One of the aspects we were looking at in the guides/company was fitting the equipment a day before the climb, which Antu Rios did. We must add...More

There are some lovely views to be had. The road up to the ski area is a bit rough in places and some pretty stupid drivers make the trip more hazardous than it should be.

Me and my family went to Volcan Villarica by Sky station. Was an amazing experience to be so close of the most active volcan in Americas. You will have snow, sun, wind and great view in the same place.

A must do. Beautiful. But the health and safety was very lacking, in a way it became dangerous, no talks on shoes etc.

Pucon, The Lake, and the magestic Volcan Villarica (smoking just a little when we were there) was an awsome experience, and reminder of how beautiful & dangerous, nature can be.

Yes on a day of good weather. The climb is do able and not hard. Of course people should bds relatively fit. The extent of climb can also be reduced from 5 hours to 4 hours if you pay extra for the chair lift.

Only so far, before you get in snow then you really need a guide if you want to go to the top it is dangerous otherwise.
