I can highly recommend this beautiful place with it's really lovely, uncomplicated hosts and the great cabañas in which I felt like home. I had a great time while learning Spanish, doing some horseback riding, making some shorter trips in the area and just relax at this beautiful place. Thank you so much!

4 hours horseback ride was beautiful. Horses got selected by the weight and experience of the rider. Guides were always on the front- and backend to support. We had two different tours through the forest, on a mountain with a perfect landscape view, to a small waterfall and next to the river.

Fantastic scenery with lush views, fresh air and fun path (including a charming waterfall). Our guide was lovely and did a great job providing answers to all our questions. This was one of our highlights in Pucon. Highly recommend!

Don't spend too long thinking about doing this trip, get it booked before you're too old! Somehow I thought i'd be disappointed. That the horses would be dull, the riding slow and short days, poor food, guides uninterested, corners cut.. Wrong on all counts.
We did the Andes crossing, and oh wow it was fabulous!! At the end of every day we were buzzing with the excitement of the scenery and terrain, of our responsive, huge hearted and agile horses, our hard working, fun and professional guides. We were exhausted by the mental concentration on the "trail" we were following (cut for us in places as we went along!) but so happy with the freedom and beauty of everywhere.
Go for it!

Our guide Livia was wonderful and so knowledgeable about the area. The trails were gorgeous and slightly challenging at some parts, but everything was tailored to our experience. It's also clear that the horses are very well taken care of here. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a unique experience with great views of the Araucania region.

I’ve just completed the Rio Blanco 4 day trail ride through the National Park
Huerquehue best Pucon. Right from my first contact with Mathias I knew that he was offering a very special riding experience. Everything was exactly as described on his website but it was all the extra attention to details and extras that added to the experience. The warmth of the reception by Mathias’s family and staff, the standard of the accommodation and equipment, the care given in the planning and execution of the ride, and the constant concern for the well being of the horses and riders was evident throughout the ride.
The pre half-day ride led by our longer trek guide ensured each rider was a suitable match for their horse, a good introduction to Chilean riding and certainly for me eliminated any pre ride nerves.
Over the next four days we enjoyed the ever changing beautiful landscapes under the friendly and attentive care of our guide Livia and arriero Miguel. The sure footedness and honesty of the Criollo horses ability to manage the terrain means you can enjoy the views and truly relax. One of many highlights had to be finishing a long day’s ride and relaxing in the thermal baths.
It was a fabulous 5 days and a wonderful way to experience the spectacular landscape Chile has on offer. Thank you again to all those at Antilco who made it happen.

I did the 4 days trek to Rio Blanco mid November 2019 (was lucky to do the first long trek of the season) and it’s been an amazing experience. Antilco is very professional and welcoming. Everything was perfect, from the initial breakfast (and pick up) at Mathias’ house to the final BBQ. The guides were super friendly and made the experience unforgettable. Horses (especially Chamanto for me) are amazing and trustful on a sometimes difficult path with absolutely stunning views! I would recommend anyone going to Pucón to go for a trek from half day up to 10 days between Chile and Argentina (next on my list!). Thanks to the entire team, I had an amazing time!

I had an amazing experience with Campo. The horses are great and the half-day ride was just amazing. I wish I had more time to do the entire day and even the 5-day tour. You discover nature in a different way and you learn about the history of the people of Pucon. Great experience and they made sure that everyone had a horse according to their previous experience.

we got picked from our hostel since they managed the tour, and absolutely loved it. it was my first time horseriding so a half-day was enough for me to experience the feeling. it was a small group, 3 tourists and 1 very friendly guide. horses seemed to be well treated, and we got to walk around the Mapuche community forest

It was an amazing afternoon with Mathias and Alejandra! The ride was gorgeous near mountains and along river. We hadn’t ridden horses in a few years, but they made us comfortable and were galloping within 30 minutes. SO much fun!! Only thing to prepare for is some sore muscles tomorrow - but it will be a very ‘good pain’.

Make your day memorable and plan a day with Antilco!!
