    World-class views and very accessible.
World-class. Just wonderful. There are 3 walking routes you can do, 1 to the main falls and view of Osorno volcano (500m and very smooth accessible path suitable for wheelchair/pram) a second loop (680m easy walking but not for wheelchair/pram) to some additional viewpoints of the river and a separate smaller fall, and a third slightly longer loop (1km not for wheelchair/pram) through the forest. We did all 3 and included a meal stop in the on site cafe/restaurant after the second just because we could. ( great photo opportunity with one of the foxes that can be found in many of the local tourist car parks). Just lovely.

    Stunning views
We visited Petrohue Falls/Rapids on a cruise ship tour. The views of the rapids and volcanoes were stunning. It was crowded but there are ample walkways and paths to get you close to the water. Of course, there are gift shops on sight. We had a great visit.

Excellent attraction and such helpful staff when our Hertz rental car wouldn’t start
Having visited the excellent site we returned to our car rented from Hertz. It failed to start having a flat battery. A staff member working in the car park called Diego was so helpful. He made calls for us as we couldn’t speak Spanish. Hertz made contact with others in gift shop to assist us. They helped with jump leads and another visitor to start the car. This enabled us to return to our Puerto Varas hotel. Hertz then replaced the car. A big thank you all round especially to Diego who saved our day

    Nice waterfalls
On a 4 hours tour with the wrong company aquazul, (a private taxi is recommended), we visited this place. You have to pay an entry fee, a few dollars, but only by card. The waterfalls are beautiful, and the colours of the water too. Beautiful contrast between the colour of the water and the volcanic black rocks.

A pleasant place. The falls themselves were a little underwhelming though the water was a beautiful blue. Facilities were good but I thought the £1 parking fee plus £6 per head entry fee was a little steep. Chilean nationals pay half this entry fee. Of all the places we have visited this is the only one which has left us a little disappointed.

Voluminous cascades with Volcan Orsono in the background. It doesn’t get more picturesque...or more crowded in mid-afternoon. Get right up to the rail and grab a memorable picture, just don’t tell the folks back home there were 5,000 people standing right behind you.

These waterfalls or really rapids are definitely worth seeing. Water cascades at great speed through narrow gorges. All this against a backdrop of the great Osorno Volcano.
There is a small entrance fee but well worth it A must see.

We stayed with my husband for seven nights in Puerto Varas and we took one of the unmissable excursions. It combines the Osorno Volcano, the Petrohué River Falls, as well as navigation through Todos los Santos Lake. We arrived around five in the afternoon, an hour before the place closed, we did everything a little quickly so as not to miss any details of such a landscape. Keep in mind that you can only pay with a card, we only carried cash, we were lucky that one of the guys in charge of the park allowed us to pass anyway. It is an impressive site. The strength of the waters and the turquoise color are a spectacle. It has different easily accessible viewpoints and each one of them is a different postcard.

Really impressive! Great views of falls/rapids in a beautifully coloured river with forest and volcano backdrop. 3 seperate trails to viewpoints, really good photo access right up close to the water. Significant new infrastruction to upgrade the pathways and bridge, you feel very secure. Each trail is fairly short for walkers of all ages. Each one takes between 10 and 30 minutes. Also, we had a nice bite of lunch at the restaurant located where the 3 trails split off.

Very easy 5 minute stroll accessible to all ages over spectacular turquoise waterfalls. You will not believe the color. Also a couple of little 30-minute trails (also extremely family-friendly) that take you by the incredible river and through beautiful forests.

Not at all challenging, extremely touristed, but jaw-droppingly beautiful. Get here early, the line to get in can be upwards of an hour long during tourist season

While thinking we were beating the crowds arriving at 9am, I kept hearing Public Enemy's song 'Don't Believe the Hype' walking around this site. While they're definitely pretty and worth a visit IF you're ga-ga over waterfalls, don't believe the words nor the masses that come by to see them!
A pretty river and some small-ish falls flow by. It's an easy walk in (points for accessibility?!), and there's a nice little cafe on site. But do go early; when we passed by, with a thought of stopping in again (which you CAN do with the same-day ticket), there were countless tour buses and masses of people on both sides of the road. I thought I was trying to escape the lot at a Phish show, but the joy was nothing the same!

The raging white waters of this azure river, tumbling between numerous volcanic rocks, is a wonderful perspective of natures' playground. Reasonably good pathways offer accessibility for most to numerous viewing spots. With volcanic mountains as a backdrop, a visit here is quite stunning. Popular with bus groups, while busy and crowded at some locations at times, there are also quiet spots and less walked trails if you explore the complex. Patience may be needed for that special photo at times. One of the terrific attractions of the area.

Not exactly waterfalls but rather rapids. The water is a beautiful blue and the easy walk to reach them is pleasant. The actual lookout point is very crowded. Is it worth the long drive to see these falls? Not really, especially if you're planning to visit Iguazu.

The place is beautiful. But don't underestimate the presence of insects called Tabanos in January. I didn't know about them and our family didn't get to take advantage of them because they are huge insects that bite and chase you in swarms during the tour. The guide didn't warn us about not wearing black clothes and we discovered there that black attracts them.
