Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Only really worth visiting as a short “extra” as you travel between Osorno volcano and Saltos del Petrohue.
They are what they say they are, a small green pond, only 500m from the car park.
You can walk a little further for a viewing platform of the main lake, which is “ok” but many other areas around the lake are at least as attractive if not better.
BUT it is thankfully FREE so you do get your monies worth. :)

The place is awesome. There is still time to make sure that pollution stays away from this place. There still is time. Act now

The green lagoon is a small pond with a tenuous connection to the larger lake.

It’s notable for its algae covering. There’s a short walk to access the “lagoon” and lake.

Didn’t bother taking photos.

The bacteria in this lagoon dates back millions of years to the start of life on earth. It is beautiful to look at through the moss infested trees.

We stopped here as we were taking a tour around the Llanquihue lake. Although the lagoon is interesting due to its colour, you are not allowed to swim there. There are public restrooms and a shop where you could buy some snacks and souvenirs.

We visited during a private tour from our cruise ship. It is a scenic area and we enjoyed the very green lagoon and the trail to the lake.

Stopped at this tourist spot to see a small lagoon that comes in off Llanquihue Lake. Pretty lagoon with large trout swimming about. Saw a gray fox near the snack shop. Red fuscia growing along lake. Very tranquil.

We stopped on our way back from volcano Osorno. It's a quick and easy walk to the lake, which is beautiful and indeed green! We even saw a huge trout swimming lazily through the water. If you go just a few minutes more, you will reach lake Llanquihue. The path is paved, not too steep, and very easy.

as you walk along the path to the lagoon you soon find it-it's somewhat photogenic, as you continue walking you then end up @ a 'regular' blue lake from which the lagoon springs [I assume]
