Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you're taking a trip to Chile's beer town, Valdivia, you must visit the great river Rio Calle Calle.
There's a lovely promenade to stroll along for a couple of kilometers, where you can experience both the moored submarine, the sunbathing sea lions, and all the other life on the river.
We hit Valdivia on the 3rd Saturday of February, when there's a huge fireworks festival in the city. It all takes place down by the banks of Rio Calle Calle from early afternoon until past midnight. What a party.

Río Calle-Calle (Calle-Calle River) is the most known river of Valdivia, where water sports like kayaking and rowing are developed and sightseeing tours through the river in catamaran, a boat specially for tourists.
The bridge with the river's name connects Isla Teja (Teja Island) with the coastal sector, where commercial activity take place and Mercado Municipal (Municipal Market) is located.
At night, you are able to appreciate the lights projected along the river, an awesome scene.

Its a river walk, the scenery is very pleasant and you get some idea of the city and its surroundings. The wild life is interesting as the sea lions bask all along the area.

Enjoyed walking along the river and over the bridge. Saw sea lions basking in the sun, Lapwings, Grebes, Ibis, and Chimango Cara Cara birds.

Very good looking riviera, a great place for a stroll when the weather permits. Lots of bars and coffee shops along the way

I got the opportunity to go around the river Calle Calle on a catamaran (which is kind of a big boat) and it was an amazing experience. Such a beautiful view everywhere you look, also the trip was smooth and didn't make me as dizzy as I thought I would get. You can appreciate how the nature surrounds the city in a beautiful way so it is a must if you're in Valdivia. Also, is not necessary to go on a catamaran to have an amazing view, walking beside the river is also an amazing option!!

Good tourist attraction, where catamaran rides are offered for $4,000 for around 30mn, an excellent ride even more so if it is with the family. As a fact, the river in its splendor can be seen sea lions and fish at the height of the river fair.

You have to haggle with the tours, they started at 5 thousand and we ended up paying 3500 and the boy who was the guide told the stories very well

Saludos
